About the Editor
Noel Yucuis
wordsmith extraordinaire
Your words matter to me.
I discovered my wordsmithing ability as an
undergraduate writing tutor at Augusta State University in 2012. My foray into government writing began the next year at the Naval Postgraduate School's Graduate Writing Center, where I gained experience guiding members of the military and civil service through all aspects of graduate and doctoral writing.
As a writing coach, workshop designer, and program manager at the Center for Homeland Defense and Security, I sharpened my teaching, presenting, and editing skills with homeland security professionals. Meanwhile, as a consultant and editor, I have shaped 400 theses, dissertations, reports, and journal articles; created and presented original writing workshops; and contributed my editing expertise to government publications, including the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department's 1 October After-Action Review.
With over a decade of communications experience with a government and education nexus, I bridge the divide between academic and policy writing. Your idea, words, and stories matter. Put them in good hands.
